Helping seniors care for their cats – one scoop at a time.
The Pawsative Scoop provides gentle, in-home litter box support for seniors who love their cats but find the physical demands of lifting, bending, and changing heavy litter difficult.
We take care of the hard part – so seniors can keep their homes clean and their cats comfortable, with dignity and peace of mind.
Many older adults love their cats deeply but struggle with the physical demands of lifting and changing heavy litter.

How do you keep seniors safe?
Safety and trust are central to everything we do. All team members are identity-verified, background-checked, trained, and required to follow strict in-home standards. Visits are limited to the agreed-upon task only, and workers are not permitted to access other areas of the home.
Will the same person come each time?
Whenever possible, yes. Consistency helps build comfort and trust.
How long does a visit take?
Most visits take about 10–15 minutes. The service is focused and efficient.
Do you only scoop litter boxes?
No. While routine scooping is part of our service, some situations require more than scooping alone. When a litter box has not been fully cleaned for an extended period, a deeper level of care may be recommended.
A full litter box cleaning includes completely emptying the box, gently cleaning it, and resetting it with fresh litter. This service is used when routine scooping is no longer sufficient to restore cleanliness and comfort.
How do I know if my litter box needs a full clean?
If odors persist, buildup is visible, or the box hasn’t been fully emptied and cleaned in a long time, a full litter box cleaning may be appropriate. We’re always happy to explain the difference and help you decide.
Is this service judgmental or embarrassing?
Not at all. Many people love their cats but find litter box care physically difficult or overwhelming. Our goal is simply to help – with discretion, kindness, and care
Do you provide other caregiving services?
No. Our service is limited to litter box care only. We are not a medical or personal care provider.
What if something seems unusual during a visit?
If anything appears out of the ordinary, we notify the coordinator so families can be informed promptly.
Not all litter box care is the same. Scooping removes waste – while deep cleaning helps restore comfort and hygiene.
We offer flexible support based on individual needs and comfort levels.
• Regular litter box care (weekly or twice weekly visits).
• Light cleaning around the litter area.
• Scooping tools are cleaned and sanitized regularly to prevent buildup, odor transfer, and cross-contamination within the litter box
• Litter provided by the client or ordered for delivery.
• Optional assistance with purchasing litter, when needed.
• Periodic full litter box refresh – complete empty-out, gentle cleaning of the box, fresh litter replacement, and sanitation of tools when buildup or hygiene concerns are present.
This service goes beyond routine scooping. Over time, litter boxes can develop built-up residue, odors, and bacteria – especially when they haven’t been fully emptied and washed regularly.
Our deep clean service includes:
• Complete emptying of the litter box
• Thorough washing and sanitizing of the box
• Cleaning of scoops and surrounding litter area
• Fresh litter replacement (owner-supplied or add-on)
This service is ideal for boxes that have not been fully cleaned in a while, multi-cat households, or when odor and hygiene need a full reset.
All services are provided gently, respectfully, and with attention to safety and cleanliness.
